Board of Directors

S.O.S. Grossesse’s Board of Directors, made up of 9 members elected‧e‧s at the Annual General Meeting, ensures compliance with the organization’s mission and objectives. Their role is to ensure that S.O.S. Grossesse’s services and activities meet the needs of the population.

S.O.S. Grossesse’s membership includes active members who actively participate in the organization’s mission, whether through telephone listening or administrative functions, as well as a few honorary members, recognized for their exceptional commitment.


Work team

The S.O.S. Grossesse team is made up of specialists in various social science disciplines, such as social work, sexology, psychology and counselling. They are trained to provide high-quality listening, intervention and prevention services.

Front-line interveners‧e‧s (IPL)

Every year, S.O.S. Grossesse recruits and trains volunteer intervenants‧e‧s for its telephone listening service. The process includes :

  • Recruitment: Un‧e intervenant‧e social‧e meets each candidate‧e to ensure alignment of values and motivations with the organization’s mission.
  • Initial training: Approximately 30 hours, covering topics such as services offered, the organization’s philosophy, contraception, pregnancy, adoption, termination of pregnancy, perinatal bereavement, ambivalence, pregnancy research, crisis intervention, legal aspects and resources.
  • Ongoing training: Regular activities enable volunteers to keep up to date and maintain quality service.

Volunteer intervenants‧e‧s come from a variety of backgrounds and are trained‧e‧s to offer support tailored to the needs of the appelant‧e‧s.
